Dani Kind is a Canadian actress and director who is known for her appearances in Workin’ Moms (2017) and Wynonna Earp (2016). She has also been nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards for “Best Lead Actress in a Comedy”.

Dani Kind was born on January 10, 1980, in Toronto, Canada. Kind wanted to become an actress in grade nine after watching an actress perform a monologue. She became a member of the improv team in high school.
Kind studied Theatre Arts at an undisclosed college.

Kind made her acting debut in the 2002 movie, Posers, in which she played “Sadie”. She has since been featured in other movies and television shows like Black Widow (Lifetime, 2005-06), Like Mother, Like Daughter (Lifetime, 2006-07) Maid of Honor (Lifetime, 2005), Mind Over Murder (Lifetime, 2005-06), The L.A. Complex (The CW, 2011-12) and Cracked (Reelz Channel, 2012-14).
Represented by Patterson Talent Management, Kind often acts for the Hallmark Channel. She also directed Her Capsule, a short film, which was funded by an Indiegogo campaign. However, she is most noted for her role as “Anne Carlson” in the television series, Workin’ Moms. Her performance in the series earned her a nomination for “Best Actress in a Comedy Series” at the seventh Canadian Screen Awards in 2019. She also directed an episode of Workin’ Moms in its seventh season while also starring in the show.
In addition, Kind played “Mercedes Gardner” and “Widow Mercedes”, respectively, in seasons two, three and four of Wynonna Earp. Apart from acting and directing, Kind had a nine-year-long career as a support worker for kids and adults with special needs.
