Samuel Eto'o and Erika Do Rosario Nieves

Erica do Rosario Nieves is the offspring of Samuel Eto’o, a renowned football icon from Cameroon (father), and Adileusa do Rosario, a Spanish woman (mother). She was born in the year 1999 at the Alarcón Foundation Hospital located in Madrid.

In 2023, Nieves reportedly demanded the imprisonment of Eto’o, alleging that he owed her €90,000. She accuses him of neglecting his responsibilities as a father.

During a conversation with reporters, Nieves’ lawyer, Fernando Osuna, expressed her client’s frustration, stating: “He owes more than five years of child support to his daughter and continues to defy the legal system. Erika is financially vulnerable while Eto’o enjoys a life of luxury.”

Nieves is requesting that “aggravating factors of recidivism and abuse of authority” be taken into consideration due to Eto’o’s influential position over the young woman.
