Lisa Marie Presley (February 1, 1968 – January 12, 2023) was the only child of music legend Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley. She inherited her father’s estate, worth approximately $100 million, on her 25th birthday in 1993. She also had a half-brother, Navarone Garibaldi, from her mother’s previous relationship.

Following her father’s death in 1977, Presley became a joint heir to his estate along with her grandfather and great-grandmother. She later became the sole heir after their passing in 1979 and 1980. In 2004, she sold 85 per cent of her father’s estate.

In the late 1970s, after her father’s death, Presley attended her first rock concert, featuring Queen, where she presented Freddie Mercury with a scarf belonging to her father.

Presley also made a posthumous duet video of “Don’t Cry Daddy” with her father, Elvis, in 1997. The video was broadcast at a tribute concert on the 20th anniversary of her father’s death. The video combined Elvis’ original vocals with the younger Presley’s contribution.

2018: ‘Duet’ with her father

In 2018, Presley was featured in the title track of the compilation, Where No One Stands Alone, a collection of her father’s gospel songs.
