Kurtzuba started her career in Omaha, Nebraska. She demonstrated a love of acting at an early age by taking part in neighbourhood theatre plays. She landed her first role as an orphan pickpocket in the musical “Oliver” at the age of 10. Her participation in pageantry saw her clinch the Miss Nebraska Pre-teen title.

She is 5′ 4″ (1.63 m) tall. In addition to her successful career, she takes pride in her roles as a wife and mother and has continued to excel in both spheres of life.

Following her graduation from school, Kurtzuba embarked on her journey in the entertainment world by participating in experimental off-Broadway productions. In 2003, she joined the Broadway production of The Boy From Oz, contributing as part of a backup trio to Hugh Jackman. This set the stage for a series of significant roles.
